Design of Irrigation Channel Network Connectivity and Tertiary Channels in Menten Village, Rambutan District South Sumatra to Optimize Agricultural Land

South Sumatra Province is a province that flowed by many rivers, including the Musi River, longest river on island of Sumatra. The condition inadequate irrigation infrastructure means farmers in Menten Village can only plant one crop per year. This study aimed to determine water needs tertiary canals and design dimensions connectivity channels. Repairing network village planned increase productivity agricultural land two plantings year with cropping pattern rice crops. research was conducted following stages Calculation Irrigation Water Needs, Surface Runoff Discharge, Channels Design determination Connectivity Tertiary Channels. results obtained Need Field Requirement (NFR) value 1.572 l/s/ha maximum requirement 2.418 l/s.ha.
